Weather Update: Several have inquired about the forecast for the weekend. We have been watching it closely and it has gradually improved over the last few days. Obviously, we would like it to be PERFECT but that may not be the case. Right now...it appears the Friday night campers may get a little wet (unless we pitch our tents in an empty T-Hangar ) but Saturday is looking a bit better. Presently 70% chance of NO RAIN OR TS's on Saturday (ok 30% chance of rain / TS's but I'm an optimist).
If at all possible, the event will not be postponed. Saturday is the KEY day and when most will fly in. Sunday looks great. It is our plan to take another look at the weather Thursday night or Friday morning and make the final call so check back late Thursday or Friday (early) to this post.

LONE STAR MAULE ROUNDUP IS ON !!!!!
LONE STAR MAULE ROUNDUP IS ON !!!!!
Rain or Shine......we have decided to go ahead with our plans to have the 1st Annual Lone Star Maule Roundup on Saturday & Sunday. Come on Friday at your own risk (when the weather may be bad...including hail) and if you do, make sure you have a hangar for your plane on Friday night. The planning team, the Llano Crew, Brent Maule, and others all agree that Saturday's forecast looks acceptable to hold the event so try to get there before Noon for lunch (catered from Inmans). The weather on Sunday looks even better so plan to camp out with us on Saturday Night. See you in Llano ! Fly Safe !!!
This is STILL going to be fun.
