For those of you that can make it I will host a Maule gathering June 22-24 at Valier Montana (7S7). It's a nice grass strip located on the Great Falls sectional about 30 mi. south of Cut Bank (CTB). It's next to a lake for those of you with floats. A public camp ground is on the shore of the lake next to the airport. A nice B&B is 4 blocks away, a small motel 8 blocks, the local cafe 10 blocks. Cut Bank has fuel, rental cars, and more hotel rooms.

Come for a week and tour Glacier National Park, fish for 5+ lb. trout on the Blackfeet Indian reservation, go hiking or horseback riding.

I'll have more info later on my web site www.montanabyair.com.

Maule 2007 Fly-In

Post by John »

Is it settled that the 2007 Maule Fly-In will be held Fri., July 20-Sun., July 22, 2007? This way we can go to Arlington, still make the fly-in, this would also allow Jeremy to attend the fly-in. I think the only question left is: WHERE ARE WE GOING TO HAVE IT?

Johnson Creek is good. I don't think reservations are required.

If we go to Root Ranch, we need to call them and see if they are available.

Cavanaugh Bay, ID, is another great place, easy strip for everyone to get into. Although it is not near the back country strips of the wilderness.

We need to make a decision!

Life is short, fly fast!

When you say it is settled, who made that decision? I do not remember voting for that date. That may be a good date but I am curious as to how you got a consensus.

Then I get it is settled that we are going to Johnson Creek.

My quote asked the question: IS IT SETTLED FOR JULY 20-22, 2007???

Then I discussed several locations!

I was just hoping that the majority of people would decide on where and when to go so that we may all pencil it in on our calendars. Our summers fill up with activities quickly.

I guess if I get to vote, I will vote for Johnson Creek, July 20-22, 2007.

Another way to decide would be to add up all the posts and dates and see who gets the most votes. Just an idea! The main thing is we all get together at some point in time.

I agree with you that a decision should be made. JEREMY. Would you prefer July 6-8 or July 20-22? What is your opinion? You are one of the few required people at the Annual Maule Convention. Who else would answer all of our questions?

Jeremy

Where and when do you think the 2007 Maule fly-in should be? It appears that some wise and experienced guidance is needed here.
