While we don't have a control tower, you do need to check in with the grounds keeper on 122.7 to make sure the golfers are clear before you land!

This fly-in is coming up for folks in the north-east. The runway is in beautiful condition! We are planning on having a six-foot sub for lunch on Saturday and a cook-out Saturday evening.

We cut up a couple of trees that fell down over the winter and have around a cord of wood for the campfire. Bring your folding chairs! Beer and soda in the fridge!

I plan to be there this year as I was there last. Great time meeting other pilots and Maule drivers, plus the runway is perfect. Perry

6/11 fly-in Pegasus

Post by Goomba »

Thinking of coming down from Maine. I usually hunt aroung the delaware gap winters, and wanted to poke around for a field nearby...we stayed in Stroudsburg 2 years ago. How many parties are due to your fly-in this year?

Goomba,

Pegasus is a stone's throw from the Gap. We are expecting 20 - 30 planes this year. Hope to see you!

It is going to be hot and there may be occasional thunderstorms but I will be setting up a 40 x 60 tent Friday afternoon and will keep the food fresh and the beer cold for Saturday. Worst case is a full stomach and a good nap. The door will be open and you are welcome!

Sorry you guys could not make it but you made the right choice. The weather washed us out on this one. The only thing I couldn't plan!
