Oct 15-17 GA Festival in China

The festival will be held near Xian at Pucheng airport. I am thinking about bring a Maule and a Cub to the event. But I wonder what Maule and Cub can do as performance aircraft since they are not acrobatic? There will be 100k people attending the event.

I think doing a BD Maule type take off would be pretty impressive. The short take off and climb rate should raise some eyebrows.

Then load it to max and repeat.

If the point is to show what a plane can do for the GA community, these two little demos would surely do it.

Thanks for the suggestion. We will try to have a Cub and a Maule race each other in terms of shortest take off and landing distance.

What I was thinking, I have several RC airplanes that will out perform both if useful load isn't a factor.
