Anyone thinking of going to Copalis tomorrow? Low tide (-0.4 ft) at about 10:30AM.

We got there about 10:00AM and there was a wind blowing out of the southeast but nothing major. After about 1 hr the wind picked up. Left around noon when clouds started blowing in and headed for Quillyute, looked at my GPS and was indicating 140kts !!! KUIL was 18 kt gusting to 30kt crosswind. Decided I really did not need to land there. Went to Squim and then Jeffco for lunch. Paine was gusting to 25 when we flew over.

Other than being bouncy it was not a bad day. Take off from the beach was like an elevator.
