Suppose to be sunny.

Meet at noon, eat, walk off some calories on the beach. Any takers??

Sounds like fun but to far for me. With the crap weather all I have been flying is the Wop Rocket. Now I am going in for annual.

Hi Rob. A good place for us to meet sometime would be Lucas Lodge on the Rogue River. West of Grants Pass.

Cheers...Rob

Ohhmmmerrrrhuuuumphhfff....oh, yeah....sorry I missed that. I'm here lurking in silence, mostly. I'm in SF area working 7/12, so I am going to pass. I'm sort of on a treadmill. Should be back in action in about a month. I'll be tuned in to the great reports and photos! Live my dream Rob! Wish I was there.

Just checked: 119 nm from me... time a bit too tight for me (timewise and oilchange wise - running on break in oil and need to do an oilchange. And going back to Hawaii tomorrow early am. My airplane is still in the hangar with hangar door closed. Neighbors who should get their promised ride today don't have enough time either. Guess I am missing out today.
Maybe after I get back for a few days next week?
I also plan on going to Stehikin 6S9 (113nm from me) for a night - but that's the other direction...

I will - but I won't go there until the earliest next week.
Why - was it wet? Overgrown? Haven't been there in years.

It does not usually officially open until June:

http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/aviation/AllSta ... nState.htm

I would avoid the end of 31 and land long about 1/2 way up the hill. Towards the end of 31 can get soggy. While the end of 13 gets rocky.

Cheers,

Tom

Anyone thinking of Copalis on Saturday?
