Valdez, 2010

Post by YELLOWMAULE »

Well, sat last night I was planning a Spring Bear hunt for me and the ManCub YM and realized that we're within two months of the Flyin.
I know that there will be the same camp as last year, UP-M5 and the Harris', and I know several others that will join us hopefully, (Buzz), yes, even a Cub or two. Who cares about type right?
In anycase, we're planning on another BBQ and have some other folks stating that they are contributing. :P
So those of us around here and even the adventurous ones that might come up from Outside, put it on your calendar, even if you drive. 8)
Live it like its your last day.

Inspiring weekend in Valdez. Chet, Kurt, Duane, and Ryan did a great job in the competition. It was super fun to meet some of the Maule pilots and thanks again for the comaradery and libations Sat evening. Looking forward to a lot more interaction and participation in this community.

Awesome photos!!

Wish I could have been there. 684 is almost done but seems like there is always one more little thing that needs to be finished up! Maybe next year!

Valdez flyin and competition a great success.
Weather, scenery, flying and road trip all spectacular.
Good to catch up with the 'usual suspects' and meet the new ones.
We had an excellent trip but I'll have to leave it to Marymac to publish pictures.
This year, she volunteered her time noting STOL results on the judge's table, next year may find her competing, so brush up your skills.
We thankyou all for airplanes, airplane rides, beer, moose, etc etc.

It was a great show. I was there both days but only for a short while as I was working.

could not believe how many airplanes showed up. Looked like twice as many as last year.

Thanks for the great pictures.

Belandd,

You should have looked us up. The Maule camp was a good place to be. Thanks every one. Dwayne, Darcy, and I had a great time.

Here are a few more pictures on the same theme.
