We don't currently have a separate forum to post pictures and videos of our Maules. Is there any interest in setting one up on the Maule Forum? It would be similar to a photo gallery that you often see on other forums.
Right now you have to search through other forums to find photos and videos of forum members' airplanes. A separate photo/video gallery category/forum would make it much easier to find them.
We would have to avoid duplicating photos and videos that should be posted to existing forums such as "Maule Pilots/Where did you fly today", which is about interesting flights and destinations.

Re: Photo Gallery
That would be great. Even better would be the ability to attach pictures directly to posts as attachments so you don't have to copy paste after figuring out the correct picture host web address even for the new gallery.

Re: Photo Gallery
I think we might already have what you described gdflys. If your photo is stored on your computer or a drive plugged into your computer, when you create a post, click the Add image to post link in the lower left of the post box and upload the image(s) with your post. They show up as thumbnail attachments in the post but when you click one, it shows the full size photo.
If your photo is stored on a server (Postimage, Google Photo, Instragram, etc.), then there are three ways to add it to your post:
If your photo is stored on a server (Postimage, Google Photo, Instragram, etc.), then there are three ways to add it to your post:
- Copy the link and paste it into your post with the img tags. This embeds the image in your post. You may have to re-size it.
- Copy the link and past it into your post with the url tags. This puts a clickable link into your post that takes you to the image on the server.
- Copy the entire image from the server to your clipboard, paste it into an app on your computer, save it to your drive and then upload it with the Add image to post link.
