Mechanics and shops: The good, the bad, and the ugly

Post by TomD »

What would be the thoughts of the BB to starting a thread on the good, bad, and ugly Maule service locations and people?

We all know the Maule is "different" and spam can mechanics screw them up with regularity.

I, personally, would like to encourage those good mechanics and shops and would like to know where and who to avoid.

This can get ugly so I wanted to run the idea around to everyone.

I would be specially interested in Alaska shops. You are right though. I have seen this kind of discussion on other boards. It can get out of hand pretty quickly.

I'm not afraid, I'm in!
Tim Bonner at the Egg Ranch on the "Good" list! A little eccentric (Who in Aviation isn't?) but a good guy, very knowledgeable.
