Thinking of replacing headliner. How easy is it to remove the bows? I suppose once window mouldings etc are off you unglue the fabric, and then the bows are accessible. Any input would be great.
Thanks

Re: headliner
The bows are the easiest part by far. To remove I suggest just cutting the old liner up into sections.

Re: headliner
I was able to carefully remove mine, and then re-use it after I did my re-cover. The hard part is releasing the glued parts at the sills. The bows just lift off the pins quite easily.
Of course since your plan is to replace it, Mog’s suggestion makes perfect sense.

Re: headliner
Just finished installing new headliner. Ordered from Aircraft Spruce. Lots of material, I would get Aircraft Spruce to sew the back zipper two inches further back. Had to hire a upholstery person to do final install, i could not do it. Cost for that $450us. Worth it.
Vinyl whlte looks good.
