Gerdes master brake cylinder o-ring

Post by yanknbank »

For those of you with the gerdes master cylinders.

I had to re seal mine, but the parts list is no longer available. there are PMA alternatives, but their dimensions are slightly off
Heres what you need:
Pilot side...............CO-pilot side (havent verified these yet)
MS28775-008 .......... MS28775-008
MS28775-110 .......... MS28775-110
MS28775-012 .......... MS28775-012
MS28775-030 .......... MS28775-112

Its much easier to take the things out and work on them at a bench, but if you must avoid bleeding the system, this design can be disassembled and reassembled in the plane while still connected. Just leave some fluid in the bottom of the reservoir while you work on it. Youll have to push down on the piston with a screwdriver to get it to open the passageway for fluid to escape while reinserting the stem.
