Fuel leak

Post by crbnunit »

I am leaking fuel from the vent tube coming from the top of the fuel divider on top of my IO-360. Slow, steady drip . I assume if fuel is reaching this vent the rubber diaphragm separating the vent from actual fuel pressure is toast. Is this a rebuild item or will it need to be replaced?

This is rebuildable. Check out this post for some info.

This one is a factory zero time from 2006…

Side question. I have a 15 gallon drum. Well rented and clean. Got it for waste oil and have never used it. Previously held calcium hypochlorite. Not sure I want to use it for temporary fuel storage….. Thoughts?
