Does anyone have any suggestions where to overhaul the C67 McCauley prop on a M4-210 ? It’s had a lot of years on it and I understand parts are difficult to find for this prop.
I heard there’s a STC for a newer style ?
Cheers.

I got a field approval for an 82" McCauley. You would like it... A lot!
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!

Field approval for me also to an 80” McCauley. I was quoted $3500 to o/h my old prop if it didn’t need parts. $2500 for o/h on my new one. I bought an 82” take off from a C182 with only 100 hours since o/h for only $4200. Had the prop shop shorten it and put it on. It just ends up being more economical. Lost a tiny smidge in cruise speed but definitely better climb. Mine is M5/210

I’ll be in the hunt for a fixed pitch prop for my m-4 o360 soon. Seems like McCaully has good performance but may need either field approval or STC if it’s available. Field Approvals from Atlanta FAA is a daunting task.
