I'm looking at replacing my ragged out lower instrument panel. There are two options, the style I have now (p/n 6022) and a new style (p/n 6142). Can anyone explain the the difference and why I'd want one over the other? My parts catalog CD doesn't have the new style in it.
Thanks.

Re: Lower Instrument Panel Differences
How about no lower panel? I really would love to move everything up to the main panel and ditch the lower so I have more knee room.

Re: Lower Instrument Panel Differences
The differences are just hole selection and layout. Structure/shape is the same.
For my rebuild, I purchased a lower panel from Maule that was cut and bent but the only holes in it are for the control yoke. They offer this if you talk to Kasey. This way I can keep it clean and only put what I need back in the lower panel. It was either that or have to fill a gazillion holes I didn't need.
