Recommendation for mechanic in Idaho

Post by klaas »

I'm trying to find a mechanic who is familiar with Maule aircraft to do a pre-buy inspection on a M-7-235B located in Caldwell, Idaho. I'm looking for somebody who actually opens it up and inspects it, not somebody who'll just read the paperwork at his desk. Please give me your recommendation!

Johan at Maule Mods. He is close by and the most mechanically knowledgeable person I have ever meet on Maules.

Thanks for the reply. Johan is no doubt a qualified mechanic. However, he was already hired by the seller to do the annual, so I can hardly ask him to do a critical review of his own work...

Based on feedback from several members, one of whom actually knows the Maule I was planning to buy, I have decided to pass on this one.

Thanks to all who helped out.

Johan has an IA he hires to perform inspections and sign offs. If you find what you are looking for talk to Johan about hiring his IA.
