Ram's horn yoke upgrade

Post by MnMauleFlyer »

Anyone know where to find the documentation for swapping older style yoke for ram's horn for an M5? I found replacement yokes years ago and set them aside. At one point I know I had the paperwork showing details about lengths, etc for making the change, but now I can't find it. Searched service bulletins and letters on MauleAirInc but couldn't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

3251F is the rams horn yoke itself, 3250F is the installation print. Approved for all models of Maule.

I've got all the original logs, parts manual, etc... How do I obtain the updated drawings? Do I need to go through ATP - and if so, will the package I get from them include drawings like this common to all Maules? Or can/will Maule send me a .pdf?
One other question: any suggestions or recommendations about how to thread the PTT wires from the switch location through the yoke - taking into account the need to screw the PTT switch into the yoke?

Is the ram horn yoke something you found at a salvage yard or can you purchase one from the factory?

Found mine on eBay. Also available from Maule directly, I believe.

Does anyone have the two drawings for this upgrade they'd be willing to share?? [3251F is the rams horn yoke itself, 3250F is the installation print]
Thanks.

Sweet!! Thanks a ton!! I don't see any dimensions for the tube... Do you know if I can use the existing tube from the oval yoke? Or if it needs to be cut down? Is it okay to match the length between the back of the yoke and the open tube end with the same dimension from the current yoke tube?
