vor antenna vertical fin installation

Post by johnmo61 »

Does anyone have any pic's of the vor wisker antenna installation with the fabric off on a M4?

Its more for the localizer/glideslope portion of the antenna I'm interested in.

Thanks

Is it even worth keeping at this point? I’m one spur of the moment away from removing my VOR all together.

I have detailed photos of the VOR antenna set-up on an M-6, if that will help.

Here you go.
In case you were wondering, you cannot remove the whiskers without cutting a hole in the fabric opposite the whisker to get a socket on the nut that holds it. Ridiculous design. Unless someone knows a trick I don’t...
