White touch up paint

Post by Millemr »

Wondering if anyone has some suggestions or tricks with touch up paint. Last week I took my M7 to Moultrie and as luck would have it, the winds were blowing and I let go of the rear door for literally one second and a wind gust kicked up and the door swung forward and chipped the paint on the wing strut. Talk about make you made. Anyway, I will need to touch it up with white paint. Any tricks or suggestions?

get it paint matched, spray out a test area to verify the match and go back to have it adjusted if it's wrong. For small areas I really like using a 2 part professional paint using this tool is my favorite: https://www.amazon.com/Preval-267-Spray ... 966&sr=8-4

For tiny touchup spots i like to use this:

Good luck!

Good suggestions on the paint gear. I've never been a painter so I've never had the right equipment suitable for small jobs that make it easier.
