Yeah you make a good point. Going into this it seemed like a clear advantage to have an impulse coupling for backup. What I might do is try some 10" knipex plier wrenches when I get back and if I can find a bolt buster to borrow, use that to put some heat on it. I put the slick mag back on last night and took it around the pattern and the plane is running great so I'll probably just enjoy the flying down here in the south for the next month till I go home and tear into it then.
