It was just one of those small cleaning steamers, K-mart, WalMart Target etc. 50 bucks or so and I would heat everything up with steam and then let it tighten. Beat the heck out of trying a hundred different ways to get rid of a wrinkle. At $450 for my headliner I wondered how many flight hours of testing went into that thing, or maybe it was designed by Yves St. Laurent! Good luck on that nasty job.

Thanks for the information. You are correct. The quality of the expensive headliner is really underwhelming. If it would have been cut to fit, it would have been less difficult.
