The ball will always be out to the right because of the paralex view.
The instrument is too far left to view straight on.
Also check the alignment of the vertical stabilizer/rudder.

Thanks for the info. Finally got time to look at the trim tab guts and it was way out of adjustment. 15 min and two short flights and it is perfect. Thanks again.

I would think that flying with wings level and no yaw should show how accurate the ball is. If the tube in which the ball travels is properly installed relative to the airframe, the ball should be centered when viewed straight on to remove parallax.

In the 767, is the ball physical or electronic representation?
