I found a good site to buy a Maule license plate with a photo of your airplane that you can upload online. It's made of aluminum and is very durable. We've used them for custom made signs in our neighborhood and they've lasted for many years in the weather. This one cost me $16.60 with free shipping. I put it on the front of my car since we only use the rear license plate in NC.
