Chris, try the Montague folding mountain bike and adapt an electric pack to it.
A fellow on BCP is very happy with his and carries in a rans S7.
I have carried two Montagues in the Maule many times.

I rode an electric recumbent trike at sun n fun. It folds but still would take up a lot of space and don't think I could get two in the back. Any way that trike was a blast to ride. The dealer said it had about a 30 mile range and speeds around 25 30 mph. Susan Maule bought an non electric one for Ray to help him get around the factory. Last time I saw her at work she said he was all over the place on it. It was a lot easier on my back than a regular bike and comfortable to sit on. The truth be told when the wife goes with me we usually rent a car or take a taxi for ground transportation. So all I need is one, 8)

Two Montague bikes

Post by JeanV »

Hi Jeremy,

When you load these two Montague bikes, is there any space left?
I am new to this community as I would like to purchase a Maule M-7-235 or 260c.

2 people, 2 Montegues, 2 folding chairs, 1 small folding table, camp box with food and cook stuff, water, tools, camp gear, 2 s/bags and pads, tents, and still room for more. I take the folded rear seat too which doubles as a camp mattress or can be used as the seat.
