well I just got a new Ipad air from My wife, she is technically savvy where I am technically illiterate. So I was wondering what some of you guys that use this stuff find useful, useless and priceless!! I have done some digging and there is an unending list of apps and programs related to flying. It seems that Foreflight is the most recomended flight planning program, what is the feeling among those of you that do not spend much time at controlled airports? I am also interested in a weight and balance app. what other things should I be looking into. I am for the most part flying in northern Ontario, small strips and floats.

In short what are you guys using and what should I be looking into?

thanks
