Trigear? Taildragger? Fixed pitch prop? Which Engine? ...anything related with model selection considerations and questions about buying a Maule

I don't have a picture right now, but it's basically some 3M clear tape that goes in between the gap. Not sure of the part #, but you can get it from the Maule factory. And only takes 20mins(?) to install.

@G21pilot I hope your purchase is going well or has happened. I just picked up my M4 yesterday! Parking it at Pitt Meadows this winter as we don't have any hangars available in Squamish and I don't want to leave it outside.

I noticed a tube behind the rear baggage area. I'm guessing thats to hold long things like fishing poles?

Yes it is!

The purchase took a while as the airplane hadn’t flown in three years. We had a lot of work to do to make it airworthy again. The good news is we are flying her now and , though she’s not pretty, she’s a gas to fly. I’m. loving getting to know her both as a pilot and a wrench turner.
