This thing has been on the market for over one year...has anyone checked it out in person? Seems strange especially since it was restored in 2018.

Could be an engine overhaul at $ 40,000.00 + with all the Continental update bulletins that have to be done, then the Prop at ?

Wow! So shiny! Mine hasn't looked like that since it was painted. I feel neglectful now.
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!

Noticed the right co-pilot rudder pedal is bent. How did that happen?
Must have some damage history.

Would be curious of engine details. Last annual info. The outside looks great! But the panel is dated. Has a original ash tray! Classic. That would be a question for other Maule owners how many of you still have the original cigarette ash tray?

I understand the risk of buying something with damage, but the logbooks here show a lot of new parts were put in place.

After veering off the runway in 2015, the NTSB report said it was substantial damage. The logbook for the airframe shows a decent amount of repairs but there is not even mention of it in the engine logs; just a 100 hr inspection.

Seems a little funky. On another note, has anyone dealt with ASO as a broker before?

In the past years working with Continental Engines and prop strikes I have had a 70 % rejection on Continental crankshafts, I refer to them as GLASS crankshafts due to they are nitrided.
