An 82" prop helps.
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!

210 is doing me great. Fuel injection is a plus.

Interesting that you fly oversquare with your Franklin. I fly 24 man and 25RPM. This yields about 10-11gph with the small twizzle stick prop. At 23 &24 with reasonable leaning I can get 8.5-9.5gph. But that’s slowing down a fair bit. .

2400rpm
24.5 to 24.9 manifold
11 galllons in cruise with 201 prop
What cruise speed are you seeing? What does your range end up at?

I’m looking at an M4-220 and comparing it to two other planes that are vying for my dollars.

A clean stock M4-220C will cruise between 135mph Indicated and 145mph. The M4 is a fast little bird. Range is tough for me as I have a ton of mods on mine that really slow it down a ton. But I plan for 2-2.5hrs at 120mph indicated. A stock M4 will do 3.5hrs VFR give or take.

Mine on 8.50's with a 78" C201 would true 140mph on 10gph leaned at 2500rpm at 8000' +/-. The the aux tanks, 5.5 hour legs are possible.
