Tail wheel vs tri gear?

Avemco doesn't offer a deductible, or, stated that if there were one, it wouldn't lower the premium by very much. If the plane is financed, lowering hull value isn't an option. Hmm...

Avemco was 60% (yes, 60%) higher on my Maule than my other 2 quotes even with my multi-plane discount and a 15+ year, no accident customer with them. 15K+ hours total time, 1500+ tailwheel. Other 2 planes are Super Cub and Helio Courier. They told me exactly the same thing about their deductibles. Try Michelle with Gallagher (formerly NationAir) at 877-940-6247. Terry
