This guy in Kenya is the king of the homebuilts. Materials and training is scarce but he presses on. Check out all his videos.
I see he has studied STOL aircraft on youtube and is building his own STOL homebuilt.
Remember, you're always someone's role model whether you know it or not.

Kind of makes me wonder where we would be now, if those 2 high school drop -outs from Ohio had to deal with as much government control 110 years ago as we do now? And really makes me worry about the future?

Don't worry about the future. Remember, they worked out of their garage with no publicity, and probably had the doors closed!
