Probably not many but post some pictures and tell us what life is like flying a Maule in Saudi Arabia.

I was in KAEC (King Abdullah Economic City) in February, I wish I knew, I would have loved to have gone up for a flight

Sorry for the late reply. The only Maules i know in Saudi are my '04 MXT-7-180 which I bought in 2018 and working on restoring another '05 M7-235 which has been abandoned for 4 years in a hangar (slow project), and a couple others that belongs to a wildlife governmental agency.

Life is pretty good, it's as if it was designed for the terrain here.

Here are some of the latest pictures I took the past few months, would love to read your opinions :D

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Fawaz

I see that you are using a suction cup mounted sun visor. Rosen Visors makes a version that clamps to the V-tubes on either side and has an STC for Maules. When I installed mine many years ago they were $300 for a pair. Aircraft Spruce is selling them now for $475. They won't leave rings or scratch the inside of your Plexiglass like the suction cup will.

Are you allowed to do off-airport landings there? You know, just go out into the desert somewhere and pick an interesting place to land?

You are allowed to land off the gird, but you have to do a flight plan with the coordinates of where you'll be landing. you can scout for locations along a normal flight and then submit a flight plan with where you'll be landing. simply yet annoying.

Thanks Rez! Hopefully we'll meet one day in one of the fly-ins when I decide to cross the Atlantic with it :D
