Some folks on Facebook have been complaining that they are having trouble logging into the Forum. Christine and I block a lot of attempts to create bogus accounts from bots. That's why she established the same procedure for account verification as backcountrypilot.org. It's the first thread on the maulepilots.org index page. I'm repeating it here to make sure newer users know about it.

STEP 1: Register your new account (or for current members w lost passwords, request to reset accounts)
STEP 2: IMPORTANT: Confirm your Email address by responding to the Welcome message with 'PLZ ACTIVATE'. No activations without this step. (keep your msg till activated)
STEP 3: Wait for the activation message and then sign into your new account and bookmark www.maulepilots.org

Many new users trying to register don't follow STEP 2 so they never get activated.
