Monterey Bay Academy (CA66)

A quick trip to Monterey Bay Academy this afternoon. 10/10, would recommend! We got a tour of the grounds from the site manager. Apparently the owner bought the 400 acres on the coast after World War Two for $1. Calfee bikes is on site (note the bamboo bikes) which I had never heard of but really enjoyed seeing, along with rainbow fin company.
On the beach overlook, right beside aircraft parking) we saw thousands of Shearwater birds and whales in the distance. The site is accessible most days after submitting the waiver found at the RAF site. Really neat spot!
