Yes, Texas has Salt Flats. Some bigger than others, these are some of the smaller.

i drove past some half way between El Paso and Carlsbad NM.
Not sure if that's where this is?

No, but there is a huge Salt Flat just a bit east of El Paso. Used to be a restaurant you could land near and have a bite. I believe itâ€™s closed nowadays.

Yeah, guess it depends on where you are coming from. The ones Iâ€™m talking about are near Dell, Tx. The ones I landed at recently are a bit closer to me.

I've seen those from the top of Guadalupe Pk and E Cap. Haven't ever been to them though.
