Lopez Island Bike Ride

Post by Flyhound »

We had a bit of good weather last week while the rest of the country was in the deep freeze. A friend and I flew our planes to Lopez Island in the San Juan island group in Washington State. Both of us and our bikes could easily fit into my Maule, but the weather was so great we both wanted to fly. It wasn't an efficient use of resources, but that wasn't our goal. We had a BLAST. Only 13.3 miles, but it's early in the year and our endurance will improve as we keep riding.

PERFECT use of resources! What's not perfect!

For some reason I can't see the pics though...

Too bad our weather has since taken a massive dump (of snow, that is)
