Back to San Juans

A 3 plane fleet from Port Townsend made it up to Roche Harbor on San Juan Island for lunch on the last good day of October. There is a fish and chips place on the pier with great chowder, fish and burgers. The flight up was spectacular as usual.

and here we are parked on the grass. One of the other pilots remarked that the newest plane in this line-up was the tube and rag Maule!
And here's the view from the dockside restaurant back towards the Marina:
It's pretty amazing to have wonders like this just 20 minutes from home base!
