Maule Fall

Post by gdflys »

Trying to make the most of flying with the windows open before it gets too cold. We may not have snow capped mountains, glaciers, or other spectacular things to view from the air, but New England sure has the colors of fall to make up for some of it.

As promised in another thread I put my daughter back to work to try and capture some of the amazing colors you can see by air in our small part of the world. When the sun hits just right there's nothing like it.

Love those colors! Fall colors in Wisconsin aren’t that great this year because of the spring and summer weather patterns, but we’ve still got some. Nice to see you’re having a great season!

Thanks for the great pics.

I've not lived in Connecticut for 22 years but I remember the fall colors.

I was not a pilot then but they looked nice from my motorcycle.

Beautiful leaf colors and good photography. I especially like the colors and perspective in https://flic.kr/p/ZDCp8W.

Great colors!

In Texas we have two seasons; hot and hotter. There are some isolated pockets of fall color: Lost Maples State park near San Antonio (Medina), and a few artificially landscaped spots. One day we'd like to use the Maule and discover your part of the country! :D

Wow!
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!
