Fourth of July in the Happiest Place On Earth, JC.

Image

Bike ride up to Riordan Lake. Super difficult dangerour rocky climb. Not recommended if you are not a strong rider and have a strong heart at 6500+ feet.

Image

Riding to the hot springs. Not so easy either ;-)

Hells Canyon

Fourth of July parade, Yellowpine style!

The Maule in repose.

Riding to the gold mine.

Packed to the gills.

Thanks for the pics!! This is what it's all about.
I can't remember if I fired six shots, or only five.....

Thanks for sharing these photos doc.
I gather you simply remove the wheels to fit the bike in the back?

Great Pic's!! Noticed in cruz you have reflex flaps selected, are you seeing much gain in airspeed on the 180HP in that position?

It fit in easy with both wheels removed, and it's a big bike. The Maule is a good plane to carry bulky but light stuff. I really appreciated the doors opening the way they do.

I couldn't say. I've played with them over the years looking at GS and AS and if there's much of a difference I can't tell. I use the -7 position because it's cool...

The 180 won't climb as well in the reflex position so I will sometimes go to flaps zero when climbing at higher DA's. Also at higher altitudes where there is a lowered IAS the plane is a little more 'floppy' with a nose higher attitude and it's more comfortable at flaps zero.
