Newaygo Winterfest on Hess Lake

After lunch today I took a short ride north of me to Hess Lake for Newaygo's
annual Winterfest on Hess Lake. Watched the young at heart do the Polar
dip and some ice racing. Nice day to enjoy my Maule.

About -38F up here this morning!!! Looks like a great fly in spot though!!

-10 down here. I think I'll go flying! Did you guys have wind on Friday? It was bad enough here I went out and bought new tiedown rope! Lost a bushwheel cover as well.

Man! Makes me cold just looking at that water. No way! The guys in dry suits say it all. Nope!
