Junction Tx

Yesterday Katy and I flew from Uvalde to Junction Tx, up on I-10. It was a nice 38 minute hop. Had to avoid some rain showers on the way back.
The Junction airport is in the valley where town is located, surrounded by hills with power poles and high hills to the south. Anyone taking off in a low horsepower plane, fully loaded on a hot day better do some planning.
We did just fine;), cleared them all by a couple thousand feet

Beautiful area. Visit Lost Maples and Frio River for me! Oh! And tear up Ranch Road 337 on a crotch rocket! I miss dragging knee on that road! 8)
