There is an excellent mechanic at Kalispell City Airport. He spent several years going over and restoring my M5 on floats and tundra tires. He managed to keep the old bird flying during its run as seaplane trainer. He also flys, so there are few jobs he can't get to.

That sounds exactly what I need, but late last night I arranged with another fellow. I might need the float rating though, I'll call him to see if that is something he can give me.
