Possible new Maule fly-in

Post by Duane »

I just got a phone call from a friend who recently purchased a M-5 235 I believe. He was interested if anyone from the NE would be interested in a Maule fly-in at Lock Haven, Pa. He is trying to set something up for next fall and would include Piper Museum tours, fly outs to stol fields etc.. Airport is friendly to it.. they have camping and bathroom facilities as they hold the Sentimental Journey there. Might be a fun time. I'm going to talk to Brent about it tomorrow and see if he might want to join in. In an aside, he joined this site couple of years ago when he was in the market for a Maule.. He has since bought an M-5 and forgot his login and password. Can either Christine or Andy help him get it back? PM me and I'll give you my cell and let you know what he told me what his username might have been and his email.

I'm in, only 2 hours in my M5 vs 3 1/2 and 2 stops in my cub from upstate NY.

He was thinking fall timeframe. I said end of Sept wouldn't work because of our fly-in but maybe mid Oct? The leaves are at their peak about that time.

Anyone come up with a date for the fly-in? I’m in northern Vt and would be interested in attending.
