Just listed my Maule on Trade a Plane and Barnstormers. Breaks my heart to sell it but I don't have any choice. If there is a trip to BQ1 this spring/summer and I still have my airplane, it's on my bucket list. I have a buddy who will fly down with me to keep me safe.

I'll make sure whoever gets my Maule knows about this list. Extremely helpful. Thanks everyone.

Off topic, but I was on your website. Was looking at your ATC experience and so far mine matches up exactly with yours. ATC at various locations, and this month I'm headed to OKC for an instructor/evaluator spot. I was thinking Denver would be a good spot for after OKC.

Sorry to hear your getting out of the airplane. When mine gets out of the annual I try and set a date.

Shall we see how many Maules we can get at BQ1 at one time?

Denver is a great place after OKC. In OKC you get used to 20kt winds. In Denver you have the mountains. Denver is the perfect place for a Maule. I'm only selling my Maule because my health is going South and I probably don't have much time left. Three months ago I was doing 2 1/2 hour hilly training runs getting ready to start running marathons again when I turn 70. Thought I got the flu. Waited a week, got worse. Went to doctor for first time (except flight surgeons). Severely anemic, with malignant tumors, spread to other organs. If I wasn't in shape, I would be gone already.

Don't be dumb like me and skip doctor visits, especially if you have a family history of cancer (like me). Starting chemo but have friends that will fly my plane to BQ1 (or ride along to keep me safe).

Looking forward to meeting you down at BQ1. Am sure that when Captnkirk gets out of annual he will be able to put together a whole covey of Maules for a big old get together.

Depart KEQY 10-10:30, play around en route, arrive BQ1 11-11:30 ready to eat.

I'm always late, so when flying I plan optimistically early. And there is supposed to be some rain moving in tomorrow evening
