Labrador Fishing Trip

Post by chadga »

Does anyone on the site have experience flying to Labrador (Canada)? A friend and I are considering flying up for a fly-fishing trip next year but I haven't been able to find much in the way of lodges with small airstrips or airports that are within reasonable distance to good fishing. Any guidance would be appreciated!

On wheels or floats? I have been up there before not real wheel friendly but certainly doable.

On wheels...floats sure would make it a lot easier! I'd take recommendations for floats as well though due to the fact that I could have access to a float plane and would love to get my float rating!

When are you planning on going? I understand late May early June are the best. I have been considering a similar trip.

Discussion is for late Spring of 2017. It really is dependent on finishing up my instrument rating though...
