Suggestions around Phoenix

Post by chazdevil »

I get to fly my Dad around the Phoenix area this Saturday. I'm new to flying recreationally there. Any suggestions for a day trip?

Coolidge used to have a pancake breakfast Saturday mornings. Chandler airport has a great little hangar cafe for breakfast or lunch. Casa Grande also had regular breakfasts and other fun events on the weekends.

Man, this IS a great site! Fantastic help so far.
The -5 is actually based in Coolidge and I've not been in town yet for the first Saturday of the month fly in breakfast. Ugh! My life can't be this complicate fer goodness sakes.
Keep the great ideas coming. I hope to have lots more opportunities for these trips.

Red creek is fun but tricky, grapevine is open the 3rd weekend each month.
Double circle is fantastic. Pleasant valley is worth a stop too.
Have fun!
