All,
A while ago, I was reading through posts and one of the members had a link in his signature section that was a link to a remote camera that he had looking at his airstrip. The camera that he was using was a cellphone based system that was solar powered. I really liked the setup because it was simple, cheap, and allowed one to collect good information by requesting the phone to take and send a current picture. Now I can't find which member had this. I think he was from the European area. Anyways, if this is you or you know who it is can someone tell me?

remote camera
I would think a rasberry pi camera project powered by a solar panel would be a good answer. All sorts of WiFi options here.
Here is the first link I could find for the Solar part of it.
http://www.voltaicsystems.com/blog/powe ... lar-power/

Another for camera:

http://www.uugear.com/portfolio/use-wit ... se-camera/
Let me know if any of these look reasonable. I am thinking about building one for my house.
