if the balls where kept in a 72 F room at say 13 psi, then outside in 35 F for 2 hours what would the psi be? maybe lower? just wondering, but with all the hype about this ball issue during the superbowl am :x . TV people love it because it brings new and more viewers and am sure the networks are doing their best to make sure it keeps this issue stirred up!!!

I am happy to report that until yesterday evening (because of a chatty Fred Meyrs checker), I didn't even know what teams were playing! Today I will have the skies all to myself because everyone else will be watching! That is good I suppose since we had a midair here yesterday!

Rule of thumb. Pressure changes about 2% per 10F for tires so if we use that as a model.

Let's say 13 psi inside. Then about 0.7 lbs loss or 12.3 psi

Then the guys at Lambeau Field would be playing with with footballs at 11.5 or so psi.

Indy just got their butts kicked and Belachek's need for every advantage in the case of the game balls most certainly had little effect

Frankly, I don't know much about football..Just trying to derail the snarky talk on the thread that got split off. Maybe it would have been better if I had just been blunt, and said; "knock it off boys!"

Well, the Seahawks loss goes back to the original thread of decision making, doesn't it?

With decision making like that it's good Wilson (and/or anyone who made him pass) is not a pilot.
