NC27VX Fairchild 24G

Post by MauleMechanic »

I finally got my videos switched over to DVDs and now trying to learn how to edit them. Until then this is a quick shot of my test flight after a 5 year restoration in 1994. I was 26 years old and my mom got a little excited when it got airborne!

Sweet restoration Bryan - and the landing was smooth as glass too! If I remember the old days well, super 8 film was pretty expensive. That is some valuable footage. I'm glad you were able to get it converted for easy sharing.
Por mares nunca dantes navegados - a line from a Potugese poem about exploring the unknown.

Thanks Flyhound but its not super 8....it is 8mm but a small cassette type tape in early camcorders. The camera itself was the "VCR" and no other devices will play the film. It was convert or be lost forever!

Some of the early film, not posted yet, was shot with the Larger VCR video cameras (VHS) and recorded onto the 8mm cassette. I still have the VHS tapes and a VCR....lol
