Hello!
I’m a Experimental pilot currently but have always been intrigued by the Maule design.
Current plane is a short couple 80Hp tailwheel.
Wondering what the most common “was tech out for this”
Or
“Make sure you get a plane that is......”
When it comes to the Maule aircraft.
I’m hoping to buy before spring 2021 while interest rates are low........
budget wise it looks like 70’s models are where I’m at.
Thanks in advance!!!!
Looking forward to the input and possibly the entertainment.
Highnoon. Shane.

There's a huge number of threads on this forum that address your questions so there's no way to put all the information into one post. Use the forum's search engine for specific topics. Here's my short list but others have different lists:
- 235 hp or 260 hp engine if you can afford it
- Fuel injection
- Constant speed prop
- Universal wing
- Vortex generators
- Elevator gap seals
- Alaskan Bushwheels Heavy Duty extended main gear
- Alaskan Bushwheels tail wheel and tail spring
- Dual puck brakes and flexible stainless steel brake lines
- 26" or larger tires
- Dual Garmin G5 PFD and HSI or glass panel
- ADS-B In/Out
- IFR WAAS GPS
- Engine analyzer with fuel flow and totalizer
