Have to agree, Me2! I delivered a new M5 at the ripe old age of 21, BD rode around airpatch with me! Love at first flight.
Many years, Jet hours, deployments and autopilots, I've come back to my roots...
Bought a clean low time M5-180C.

Thanks! David is the photographer. I am Glen the owner and pilot. I was just going up to watch the sunset and my hangar neighbor who is a professional areal photographer asked if I wanted some photos. It was totally unplanned but really fun. He did a beautiful job. I really like your airplane and your photo too!

Awesome Glen, people ask me why I like the Maule, It truly is a "pilots airplane" is the answer.

Image Just got my first one in June. 26 hours so far and best decision I’ve ever made.

OK, I love mine too. It isn't as fun to toss around the sky as other planes I've owned. Both my Grumman AA5 and my Pitts S2A had much more lively controls. The Maule handles more like a truck than a sports car, but I use it more like a truck too.

Try flying a Cessna 185 if you want to know how a truck flies. My Maule's controls are light and lively compared to the 185 that I flew for the forest service for seven years.

The 185 might fly like a truck, but at least it’s a pain to reach to the rudder trim. ;-)
