Insulation
I know people have removed the fiberglass insulation from the cabin. How much noisier, colder did it make it? Did you replace it with something else or not?

I have removed all the insulation, floor, sides, etc.
Like Andy, I did not notice any sound difference.
My winter temperatures, I believe, are not as low as yours. I do fly at night during the winter (-5C) and my heater is more than capable of maintaining a comfortable cockpit.
Closing off any gaps around doors is probably more important for a quiet (read less noisy), warm cockpit.
